About the Role
Location and hours
Your working time will be predominantly based in our clients Faygate (Horsham) office, but there may be occasions to work at our Southwick (Brighton) office and client premises. Your working hours are 9:15am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour lunch break from 1pm.
Duties
You will be given a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses who operate across a broad spectrum of industries (including retail, property, technology, hospitality), and will be responsible for the delivery of services such as
Year-End Statutory Accounts Corporation Tax Computations and Returns Bookkeeping and VAT Returns Management Accounts
To assist you in delivering the services, you will have more junior members of the team to support you. You will be responsible for their training and development.
As part of the delivery of a joined-up service to our clients, you will liaise with other members of the team, bookkeepers, payroll executives and tax advisers.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be:
a strong academic proficient in the use of Excel excellent in communication skills and have an eagerness to develop relationships with staff and clients able to work to strict deadlines self motivated and able to work on own initiative
