About the Role
What we’re looking for…
- AAT Level 4 qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA
- Must have at least 2 years public practice experience
- Knowledge of UK VAT and strong double entry bookkeeping knowledge –
- Good understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Knowledge of CCH suite would be preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of Sage/Xero/QBO and Dext – most clients use Xero and Dext combined
- Experience of meeting regular filing deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

London based firm who provide accountancy and taxation services for the general public, specifically those in the creative sector. These creative industries include: film, music, photography, creative direction and fashion.
Responsibilities…
- Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies/sole traders/partnerships/LLPs
- Preparation of Corporation Tax computations for Limited Companies
- Preparation of bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts
- Completing VAT, Self-Assessment, EORI etc. registrations with HMRC
- Operating as part of an outsourced finance function which includes making payments, liaising with customers and suppliers, completing weekly bookkeeping etc
- Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of trainee staff members both formally and informally
