About the Role
We're working with the largest network of accountants, currently working from over 300 locations throughout the UK, and now expanding with offices in Ireland, Australia, Canada, and the United States.
They focus their accountancy skills specifically on small businesses and taxpayers needing a tax return in the UK. They specialise in providing accountancy services, tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, tax savings, and tax advice to small businesses. They have 80,000 clients including Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and Personal Taxpayers.
They are seeking a dynamic practice manager to join our growing office based in Hove. Potentially full time but minimum 25 hours per week with flexibility to increase later.

We currently have 6 staff in our Hove office and have ambitious plans for growth.

The Job is:
Initially you will be 2nd in charge to the MD but this is temporary. After a short period, you will take over the running of the Hove office and be responsible, with the team, to grow this practice 4 x in size over the next 5 to 10 years. You will also be a part of building the team to deal with the growing office workload.
You will have all the assistance and training you need but this role definitely requires a go-getter personality.
A broad background of experience is required including accounts, general tax, VAT, tax technology including Dext & Quickbooks and a track record of supervising staff and dealing with clients face to face
Job location:
You will have a private office in our Hove office. We intend to expand into Brighton as soon as this is feasible.
